LIGHT DINNER TO LOSE WEIGHT WITHOUT STARVING YOURSELF 2
If you want to have a salad for dinner you should choose a salad that complements the rest of meals. Here our proposal for this week, ideal for dinner as a unique dish:
This is one of the most refreshing and original traditional cuisine of Malaga, which combines the gifts of the land and the sea.
Ingredients (for 2):
3 large potatoes, 100 gr. salted cod, 3 oranges, 50 ml extra virgin olive oil., 3 onions, a pinch of salt (optional), 2 boiled eggs, 10 green olives.
Peel and slice/cut the potatoes into pieces and then boil them. Pour off the hot water and put them aside to cool down.
Cut the peeled oranges into slices. Chop the onions into pieces. Chop the boiled eggs into thick slices or quarters. Roast the cod.
Mix the salad and the cold cooked potatoes with the chopped onions and the sliced oranges with their juice. Decorate with the sliced cod, green olives and boiled eggs.
Season with a pinch of salt, but if the cod is salty then it is not necessary. Sprinkle with a little olive oil before serving, or it is even better if you can keep it in the fridge for about half an hour.
This salad has the amount of protein, carbohydrate and fat we need to cover the daily requirements for a proper nutritional balance that helps us controlling our weight.
